Tales Of Vesperia Developers Say Definitive Edition Will Help Series Go Fully Multiplatform

The iconic Tales of Vesperia will be the very first Tales of game for the Nintendo Switch and according to Tales of Vesperia Producer Yoshito Higuchi and Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Producer Yusuke Tomizawa, it won’t be the last. The big goal of bringing out Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is to help the series go fully multiplatform. You will be able to get your hands on the game next month.

Tomizawa stated that one of the big goals of this game is to help the series go fully multiplatform. The Steam versions of Tales games in particular sell very well.

While this time the concept was to bring a good game to current platforms as it was, Tomizawa wants the team to challenge itself for future Tales games. While the team will keep aspects of the Tales of series that should never be changed, he wants to reconsider how much of the series should be changed

  1. Awesome news,I love the Tales series but since Xillia something was lost(Xillia and Zestiria are still great though).

I hope they port as many Tales games on Switch as they can,the 2D ones too I’d like to try thoses

    1. They haven’t been that geat. I would say Vesperia was the high point. Grace’s F was a nice game, but too different. Symphonia 2 was ass, Xillia and Xilia 2 we’re meh, Zestiria was meh, and Berseria was ok. I hope they get new blood in that team, because it really needs it.

  2. I’ll believe it when I see it. They’ve burned me more than once with this series, hence why I’m always cautious.
