Hellblade On Nintendo Switch Developed By QLOC, Supports Motion Control

Kotaku is reporting that studio behind the critically acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for the Nintendo Switch is QLOC. They were the team behind bringing Dark Souls Remastered to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game, which is by Ninja Theory who were behind Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry, has been in development for the Nintendo Switch since early last year.

The Switch port of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will not contain any new content, but it does support optional motion controls – in Focus Mode you’ll be able to utilise these when looking for symbols hidden around the environment.

  1. I wasn’t expecting Hellblade to come to Switch. I was contented with the whole PS4 Hellblade experience. I also thought that running it on Switch is impossible. Man, I have never been happy for being wrong. Lesson Learned: Never underestimate the power of Switch.
