The super-fun Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch has received a new update today. The update, which brings the game to Version 3.0.1, fixes the issue with winning a game with a Final Smash using the newly released DLC character Joker in Classic Mode. There’s also a number of behind the scenes bug fixes to improve the gameplay experience.
Version 3.0.1
- Games & More
- A bug where winning with a Final Smash while on Joker’s route in Classic Mode would prevent the game from progressing has been fixed.
- General
- Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience
Yeah I don’t really understood how Joker wins the battle with his final smash. I can understand Bayonetta because when you get over 100% of damage you lose your stock but Joker was strange
It’s an instant KO if the opponent’s damage is 64% or above, so it is not always a win using the final smash. The victory screen resulting from the final smash is an homage to Persona 5.
Thank you for the info
There are some final smashes that kill you once you’ve reached 100% before the end of the FS. I assume Joker’s is the same with that. They just went to the next level with his because if you use All Out Attack in Persona 5 and they lose enough HP to end the battle, then it immediately goes to end battle scene.
So for Smash if you use it on your last opponent while they’re on their last stock, it’ll send you directly to the results screen as an homage to how the attack worked in Persona 5
I hope this fixes the glitch in online arenas whereas people’s custom stages are taking other’s custom stages place. It doesn’t matter if you change your custom stage it will always be the first stage that was chosen when the glitch occurs. The music seems to still change, though.
