Dauntless Devs Show Off Never-Before-Seen Behemoth Winterhorn Skraev On Nintendo Treehouse, Can Be Played At E3

The free-to-play co-op action RPG title, Dauntless, that’s kicking up a storm in the multiplayer communities is heading to Switch later this year. During the Nintendo Treehouse stream, the Pheonix Labs dev team showed off a never-before-seen behemoth that’s available to play on the E3 show floor from today. Named Winterhorn Skraev, this owl-come-beaver behemoth sprouts devilish horns and specialises in terrifying ice attacks.

Interestingly, Winterhorn Skraev is an older behemoth (from the same family as the Skraev), dating back to when the game was first available in 2018. However, Phoenix Labs scrapped his original model and went back to the drawing board, re-developed the enemy from scratch, re-balanced the gameplay elements and made Winterhorn much harder to defeat.  Plus, if you’re down at E3 today and would love to slay this new behemoth, there’s a secret trick to doing so: hit both left and right bumpers on the controller and press down on the thumb stick to unlock the behemoth from the demo menu.  Good luck! Dauntless will be released sometime in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch.
