New Zelda: Link’s Awakening Video Shows Mr. Write, Dampé, Tal Tal Heights

The trusty Nintendo enthusiasts at GameXplain have uploaded some more footage of the eagerly awaited Nintendo Switch remake of the classic Gameboy title, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. The new footage captured at E3 shows of the inclusion of Dampé, Mr. Write and a look at Tal Tal Heights. Check out the lovely direct-feed footage down below.

  1. Music in TalTal sounds great. I was worried that the string-and-woodwind arrangement they’ve been using throughout the game would be unable to capture the driving rhythm of the original, but it actually sounds quite nice.

    In A Link Between Worlds, the instrumentation of many of the tracks changed throughout the game, starting out with lots of strings but later adding in brass. The music in the final castle followed a similar progression as you got closer to the boss. I wonder if this game will do something similar? That would be nice, and it would fit well with the game’s theme of collecting instruments.
