It’s a little late, but Nintendo has finally announced the next NES titles that will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online. On July 17th, you will be able to play Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecking Crew. The two games will also come with the arrival of a brand new feature to the Switch Online NES games. Nintendo says that “a Rewind feature will be available to use with the entire collection of NES – Nintendo Switch Online games, allowing players to easily rewind gameplay by pressing and holding ZL + ZR if they make a mistake or just want to retry a section of the game”. Nintendo has released two trailers for the NES Switch Online update. One is for the games and another is for the rewind feature. We’ve included them for you down below.

I just realized the Mario Maker costume is basically the Wrecking Crew costume. Neat.
Yep, he’s pretty much the reverse colors of Wrecking Crew Mario. Also, Wrecking Crew is the first Mario game where you can create your own stages… Coincidence?
The MegaDrive Classics way of handling it is more natural I think, but these preview stills have some advantages too.
