The western version of Dragon Quest XI S has gone gold

Development has been wrapped on the western version of Dragon Quest XIS: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition and it has subsequently gone gold. Now it is down to the marketing teams to promote the title and for production to start. The news was confirmed by Square-Enix’s Hokuto Okamoto. You will be able to purchase Dragon Quest XIS: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition on 27th September on Nintendo Switch.

  1. Well, at least it gives me some time to complete some games first. That is, unless I just keep playing A Robot Named Fight oner and over.

  2. The very first Switch game ever announced has finally gone gold… pop the bubbly, I’ve been waiting for this game for so long, especially since I skipped the PS4 version.

  3. No news yet that I’ve seen, though, on special edition boxes or digital deluxe content. If we can just get some of awesome extras produced for Japan, I’ll be satisfied. Better be more than just vanilla release here to make up for all the DQs we never got (like # 10 entirely.)
