Luigi’s mansion 3 looks pretty good, but it’s a shame to hear about its more linear structure from others like gamexplain…though admittedly the structure does make sense considering its a hotel. Still though, hopefully more interconnected level design is in the game.
Please tell me it’s not divided in levels like 2
(I didn’t hate it, I just prefer 1’s design)
There’s no mission structure, but the level design is pretty linear going from one separate floor to the next iirc
Slightly lower score for Luigi than I expected but doesn’t really bother me. It looks fantastic and from listening to the people who have already played it I am very excited.
Yeah listening to reviewers only gets you so far, and at some point you realize you have your own tastes are could be wildly different from the reviewers’.
I sometimes take these famitsu scores with a pinch of salt.
There scores are more directed to there own personal preference.
Still a good score though.
I’m pretty sure luigis mansion will be one of the top switch titles.
Pretty sure Luigi’s Mansion is a series that people will always cry about how the games aren’t exactly like the first one.
The first one will always be the best ;)
Divinity is one of the best RPG’s I’ve ever played, so to me (and Opencritic has a higher score as well) 32/40 seemed a bit low. But I guess it’s a bit more western than a typical JRPG. Chrono Trigger is btw my favourite RPG of all time.
