Overwatch 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch

Today is BlizzCon, where Blizzard loves to make major announcements, such as the reveal of brand new games. Today, Blizzard announced Overwatch 2. The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. What may surprise you is that none of the official trailers, art and screenshots that Blizzard released mentioned the Nintendo Switch at all. In fact, the confirmation of a Switch version of Overwatch 2 was only found in the fact sheet that came with Blizzard’s press release, as well as a confirmation at a BlizzCon Overwatch panel. That said, Blizzard did not give a release date for Overwatch 2 for the time being.

It appears that Diablo IV will not come to the Switch. I spoke with one person now and he says that Diablo IV won’t come to the Switch

      1. Bummer. But maybe down the line it could unfold like how Diablo III did?

By that, I mean that the base Diablo III didn’t come to Nintendo systems, then when Reaper of SOuls and the other expansions finally came together to form Diablo III: Eternal Collection, it was able to be condensed onto the Switch.

WHo knows, it may be a long shot, but maybe – just MAYBE – Diablo IV could go through that same scenario and come to the Switch with all DLCs a few year later or the next console after the Switch?

To me that’s great that OW2 is coming to the Switch but there are many questions to answer.
      1) Will the upgraded game engine of Overwatch make the game running at 60 fps on the Switch? Or can we have an option to prefer performance over stunning graphic?

      2) Does the game feel to similar to the first one? I have seen sone gameplay and the story missions are my interest in this game. While the classic 6vs6 is the same. The story missions should vary on almost every mission. I don’t want to see what they did this year with that pve event. They simply took the same event of last year but with different characters.

      3) We can import our unlocked skins audio etc from pc to console? Since OW1 on Switch can’t let you do cross-progress (which is a shame since other games can do that) but can we get the stuff on the previous game unlocked on the second game with different type of system (meaning from PC to Switch)?

    3. Would’ve rather Diablo 4 than Overwatch 2. Seems odd that they would already decide to make a version of Overwatch 2 for Switch without really knowing how well the first one would do and yet Diablo 3 sold well last year and we don’t get the sequel to that.
