Nintendo has won yet another award at The Game Awards 2019. The category for “Best Family Game” was a guaranteed win for Nintendo, as all of the games nominated were theirs. However, only one game can win, and that honor went to Luigi’s Mansion 3, which released on Halloween. Nintendo of America reacted to the news on their Twitter account, so you can see what they said for yourself down below.

This game is so great!
Not really a family game though. I feel like they just didn’t make any this year, so they were like “uhh I guess this one?”
Stuff like Mario Party, the New Animal Crossing (since it actually has local coop), and other casual/party games are the only things I’d really consider “family games”
This is a pretty good representation of a family game, no idea what you are talking about.
