The best-selling Nintendo 3DS games of all-time

Nintendo has provided updated sales for the Nintendo 3DS platform and its vast array of software titles. The figures are correct as of 31st of December 2019 and you can see that the Mario Kart franchise remains unstoppable along with Pokemon. Interestingly, the obscure but very popular Tomodachi Life even makes an appearance at No.10.

Top Ten Best-Selling Nintendo 3DS Games (as of 31st December 2019):

1) Mario Kart 7 – 18.68 million
2) Pokémon X and Y – 16.44 million
3) Pokémon Sun and Moon – 16.18 million
4) Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire – 14.26 million
5) New Super Mario Bros. 2 – 13.32 million
6) Super Mario 3D Land – 12.67 million
7) Animal Crossing: New Leaf – 12.45 million
8) Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS – 9.57 million
9) Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – 8.70 million
10) Tomodachi Life – 6.55 million

    1. I loved it. I still used to check on my islanders at least once a month, until something happened during my recent system transfer where all my save data DIDN’T carry over and I lost everything… I’m not too miffed about starting over in regards to repopulating my island, but I do completely lose all the Spotpass items which they don’t give out anymore.

      I’d buy a sequel in a heartbeat, and this time I shouldn’t have to worry about losing my precious data because of cloud saves.

    3D Land is a masterpiece imo.
