Video: Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon announcement trailer

Yacht Club Games has announced Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. Not all of the platforms have been announced yet, and the list is “to be determined”, but the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch have gotten mentions so far. In fact, you will be able to play the game on the Switch at PAX East 2020. There is currently no release date. Yacht Club Games says that the game is “an action-packed puzzle adventure mashup like none other! Join your mysterious guide Puzzle Knight as you shovel through scads of foes, procure new equipment, and battle bosses both familiar and new. Explore a tale with endless twists and turns, quest as your favorite heroes, and even challenge a friend for fast-paced head-to-head competition”. The announcement trailer is down below.

  2. This looks more like a mesh of classic puzzle titles like Tetris Attack mixed with elements of classic rogue-like titles. Its not candy crush phone garbage, at least it certainly looks nothing like it.

  4. So that’s another Shovel Knight spin-off they’re working on. Kinda wish Yacht Club Games had a bit more trust in their own skills so that they wouldn’t have to use Shovel Knight for every single one of their games. At this rate, we’ll soon be overexpose to Shovel Knight games and cameos, which would somewhat make him lose his charm.
