The official website for Monolith Soft, the developers behind the excellent Xenoblade Chronicles series, has revealed that the team helped out on the recently released Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is not mentioned on the website which aspect of the game the team helped out on though they have previously contributed to both Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.
Thanks Benny for the news tip!
Not really a big shock since they did help out with other projects, gotta keep them busy somehow.
It would be cool if we got Xenoblade items as DLC.
It seems like this is Nintendo’s go to studio to accelerate development of their games.
Might as well acquire them along with Retro Studios.
Nintendo already owns both.

Pretty sure it says their company name in the credits too.
