If today’s announcement of Paper Mario: The Origami King didn’t get you interested, then a new rumor that has surfaced will. VentureBeat is reporting that “other Nintendo studios will have games ready for release soon, as well. That includes the 3D Mario remasters, but it should also include Pikmin 3 Deluxe”. While the 3D Mario remasters are not surprising, thanks to the rumors it has been getting lately, this is the first in a while we’ve heard of Pikmin 3 Deluxe. Obviously, this isn’t an official announcement from Nintendo, but if one does happen, we’ll let you know.

I suspected it was Pikmin 3 because the Hot Take Rants guys mentioned it being ported last year.

I knew nintendo would be air dropping games, 3d mario announcement might be today, or this week who knows theres way too much evidence that points to it happening.

Idk how Pikmin 3 will work without the gamepad. It was pretty essential to doing all of the necessary multi-tasking. I feel like it’s one of those titles that wasn’t worth porting… eh, we’ll see.
Maybe they put the game pad features in a separate menu you can access with a button press

Didn’t people say the same thing about Mario Maker? If they can do it for that game, why not Pikmin 3?
The gamepad wasn’t exactly necessary for Pikmin 3 even though it made taking pictures kind of nice. It actually eventually had a gamepad-only mode.
tbh I vastly prefered the wiimote and nunchuk option. I kinda hope that’s implemented with the joycons… but, on the other hand, I’m in handheld mode 99% of the time. idk… it’ll be interesting to see what the options are.
The other obvious is a Metroid game is coming very soon but what ?

Yea 2020 should have a solid 2nd half, knock on wood. Games scheduled for 2021 will be more heavily impacted by all this, hopefully not too impacted.

R.I.P wii u exclusives tho. We only have fatal frame 5, 3world (rumored to be ported), xeno x,mario pary 10, kirby, nintendo land, star fox zero, devils turd, both zeldas HD, splatoon and smash dont count so yeah.
Still Im glad wii u games can be played by more people now that they are being ported to the switch.

Tell me about it. I’ve been complaining ever since then, asking “WHERE IS PIKMIN 4?” It’s ridiculous how long it’s been, and yet it STILL hasn’t been announced/released.
If Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a thing, I can only hope the single-player campaign gets an extension- it was tragically short.
Makes me wonder what the plan is for Pikmin 4 then.
Hopefully more evolved and more akin to Pikmin 2. If I remember correctly, Miyamoto said he wanted Pikmin 3 to be like… idk… a speedrunning sort of game? One that you replay a bunch to improve you times? It did end up being a short campaign because of it.
I just hope they do more. Pikmin has crazy potential for how much more elements and puzzles they could add.
I hope that one of those Mario 3D remasters is Super Mario Sunshine. I’ve always wanted a remastered version of that game.
I hope not only is the game ported but add one more stage with new fruits
