Square Enix has trademarked Live A Live in Australia

Square Enix has recently filed a trademark for Live A Live in Australia. For those of you not aware, Live A Live was a RPG on the Super Nintendo which was released September 1994 in Japan. The game was never made available outside of Japan. It did however have a Virtual Console release in June 2015.

  1. hope this is a localized physical switch release like Romancing SaGa 3 got. LAL is one of my favorite RPGs of all time and possibly my 2nd favorite on the snes after Earthbound.

  2. I hope after Collection of Mana and SaGa 3, Square has realized they can net themselves a tidy little profit by just taking 20/30+ year old games and localizing them for the western market.
