Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has already shipped 3 million (including digital)

Koei Tecmo Games, the development studio which partnered with Nintendo to produce the recently released Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, have announced this morning that they have shifted three million copies of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity since its worldwide release on Friday, 20th November. This figure includes both physical and digital copies and it means that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is now the best-selling Musou game of all-time. Quite an achievement, eh?

  1. I’m already liking it more than the original Hyrule Warriors, even if it is somehow worse in the technical department. The framerate drops do get pretty ridiculous- I’ve noticed it’s the worst when using Zelda’s special attack with the camera and when you kill hundreds of enemies at once in the Divine Beast segments. And the lava in Death Mountain always looks terrible- it never looks like it’s flowing, more like a rapidly-moving slideshow.
