The latest Famitsu readers most wanted video games charts have been published and it is Nintendo Switch exclusive Monster Hunter Rise which is the game that players want the most in the land of the rising sun. It is closely followed by the next entry in the long running Tales of game, Tales of Arise. Here’s the top ten games Japanese players are looking forward to playing the most in 2021.

  2. [PS4] Tales of Arise – 1,142 votes
  3. [PS5] Final Fantasy XVI – 1,105 votes
  4. [PS5] Resident Evil Village – 756 votes
  5. [NSW] Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 – 718 votes
  6. [NSW] Bravely Default II – 700 votes
  7. [NSW] Rune Factory 5 – 659 votes
  8. [NSW] Shin Megami Tensei V – 591 votes
  9. [NSW] Bayonetta 3 – 546 votes

  1. You know we’re in an info drought when most of the Switch games have little to no information.

    Only one we got info for is Bravely Default 2 (and to a lesser extent, Rune Factory 5).
