Nintendo adds 4 player Captain Toad multiplayer to Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Nintendo UK has confirmed this afternoon via the Super Mario UK Twitter account that the Captain Toad mini levels in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will now include four-player co-op. The levels were a joy to play through in the original and they even spawned their own game in the form of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker which is available on Wii U and the Nintendo Switch system. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is due out 12th February.

  1. I was waiting for you guys to mention it nice to see it in action, but weird toadette is no where to be found in game, but if were going by the logic of the wii u version of captain toad, it would honestly make no sense for her to be their since she never visit the sprixie kingdom

    1. Most likely it’ll work like how the controls work in switch port of captain toad where all players had control of the camera which might be weird here honestly, cause the captain toad stages in 3d world are kinda small compared to its prequel.

      1. Maybe each player will see from their own perspective using their own switch? Instead of the shared TV screen.
