Nintendo has announced that an expansion pass is going to be happening in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. The content is slated to release this year. The confirmation came from today’s Nintendo Direct. An official tweet is down below.

Most likely Astor and Sooga. Voice lines for all four characters were datamined from the game’s code, so it seems they’ve been planned all along.
The question is: how far along were they before the game was released? Is this another case of developers holding back content in order to make more money?
Not sure honestly, could be. The fact it’s not releasing until June, is a good sign it might not have been planned but I put nothing past a company wanting to make money
I honestly see nothing wrong with that as long as the base game’s content is great and doesnt feel like it was actually cut.
Looking forward to more content of this game, it’s a great game this far! :D
Still waiting a performance patch to begin it …
I highly doubt its gonna do anything. Best they culd do via patches with wht they already worked with, is improving framepacing to make it feel more smooth despite the framedrops.
Ive already played through it and had a blast. Now im already onto the next game. lol
