The latest UK physical video game software sales charts are now in via Games Industry and it has been an interesting week in the top ten. Last week’s new entry Monster Hunter Rise which is currently exclusive to Switch has dropped down to No.4 this week with a deadly 74% drop in sales. Those wondering how Balan Wonderworld has been performing will be sadden to hear that it has yet to break the top 40. Here’s the GfK Top Ten for the week ending 3rd April:
| Last Week | This Week | Title |
|---|---|---|
| 8 | 1 | FIFA 21 |
| 3 | 2 | Animal Crossing: New Horizons |
| 4 | 3 | Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury |
| 1 | 4 | Monster Hunter Rise |
| 7 | 5 | Mario Kart 8: Deluxe |
| New Entry | 6 | Outriders |
| 16 | 7 | Ring Fit Adventure |
| 2 | 8 | Super Mario 3D All-Stars |
| 14 | 9 | Assassin’s Creed Valhalla |
| 6 | 10 | Minecraft (Switch) |

Kind of disappointing drop but still decent. FIFA is only top because it went on sale so don’t really count that and seeing AC and SM3DW up there is great though
The brainless sheep of the UK arent real gamers for the most part, all they want to play is Fifa, Fifa, Fifa.
I’m from the UK, and this is sadly true.
Why not just buy a soccer ball for a fraction of the cost of a video game and go play real soccer outside?
Way more fun than watching little CGI men kick a ball around and keeps you in shape.
I’m with you here as I never understand the appeal of sport games. No offense to the fans of the genre but that’s just me.I’d rather be playing tennis with my friends after work, then back home and gaming at night.
yikes, should have stayed on Xbox
