Nintendo of America has announced that for a limited time Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now save 30% off the Nintendo Entertainment Controllers which can be used with the classic titles on the Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online collection of games. The 30% discount ends on 4th May 2021 at 11.59pm PT. They are available now for $41.99.

These things are WAY overpriced
Yaaay, a sale on Joy-Cons with fewer buttons than normal ones and feel like a straight downgrade… Even at a discount like this, they ain’t worth it.
I’m super glad people agree on this. Though pretty much ALL of the Switch controllers are way overpriced…. just like everything else about it.
Compared to what?
Well what about the SNES ones? I slept on them and now they sold out I think. Bought the NES ones but haven’t used once, should use them for simple games without shoulder button.
Guys, its two controllers. 2/60 is pretty much in keeping with off brand controller prices. Just because you personally aren’t interested in using your Switch as a NES doesn’t mean they’re “overpriced”. They’re priced pretty much exactly where you’d expect two lower end controllers to be.
You want officially licensed controllers? You pay Nintendo tax, plain and simple.
