Koei Tecmo and Nintendo have revealed the bonus content for those of you who purchase the Expansion Pass for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity for the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for the Expansion Pass start on 28th May and Japanese gamers will get a new costume for Link which is the Ancient Armour & Sword costume set (expect the same for the west). The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass content will be released in two parts starting in June 2021 and November 2021. The June 2021 content will be titled Ancient Heartbeat and the November 2021 update is titled Guardian of Recollection and both will include new characters and story content.
Continue the fight against Calamity Ganon with the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass. Available to purchase now, the Expansion Pass will grant access to two waves of new content and a set of additional bonus items as they are released through 2021.

Why would this be a confirmation of anything regarding BotW2? The games don’t even have the same development teams.
To my mind, I think it’s more of Waluigi addition to Zelda game’s lore. #whySoSerious
