Emily Rogers backs today’s Bloomberg report about Switch Pro, could be unveiled this week

Bloomberg has published a report from various industry sources that a Nintendo Switch Pro announcement is imminent. The enhanced system will replace the current Switch and will be sold alongside the Switch Lite. Bloomberg says that the system is expected to launch in September or October. Nintendo insider Emily Rogers has hinted that the reveal of the revised Switch could be soon as today or tomorrow. She also says that the Bloomberg report lines up with what she has heard over the last few months. As always this is a rumour, but it does seem fairly solid. We shall have to wait and see what transpires.

  1. E-3 is just around the corner and Emily believes the switch pro will be revealed this week. Yeah, I’m gonna have to disagree on her statement there because these type of rumors about the Switch pro are not the best used of my time to read rumors.

I find it a little odd about what she got the information from but I’m gonna still disagree with her statement. Nintendo will decide to made the announcement for the pro even before E-3 or after E-3.

    1. Yeah, but I’m still not quite sure if I believe her statement about the announcement. I’m not really sure. Some people find this rumor a bit sketchy. I’m not a little excited for the pro even so I’m not abandoning my original Nintendo Switch model

Nintendo will still support the Switch just like they continue to support the original model of the 3DS back then.

  2. I have a theory that the main reason that they have blatantly refused to share any information on the Breath of the Wild sequel is that it is going to be announced either exclusively for, or enhanced by, the Super Nintendo Switch Pro XL.

And yes, that is what I’m going to call it.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if Metroid Prime 4 is in the same boat.

    1. Well Metroid Prime 4 is still at it’s early stages so I don’t think the reveal for the game is going to happened at E-3 anytime soon due to retro studios hiring some best graphics designers and engineer teams, Including one employee from Rick Star company.

  3. They keep saying switch pro which makes me want to call it “SP”. But we already have an SP (GBA). We can’t have 2 SPs?! I’m putting my money on Super Nintendo Switch.
