Once in a while, Twitter provides some interesting data insight into certain things tweeted about on the social media site. This can include gaming, and with E3 being done and half of the year being gone, there’s some gaming-related Twitter insight data that has been been released today to mark the occasion.
A couple of these charts have some Nintendo games appearing on them. According to Twitter, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild managed to be the #1 game that people tweeted about during E3 this year. Meanwhile, Animal Crossing is the 5th most tweeted about game worldwide so far this year. You can see the full data of both charts down below.

What!? How is Metroid Dread NOT on at least the top 10 tweeted?
Agreed. I call BS.
Becuase despite popular belief from Nintendo fans Metroid is not one of Nintendo’s best selling franchises, especially in Japan. It’s why Nintendo didn’t force the team to make Dread.on the DS and take as much time as they wanted. It’s may not make much of any money, so it’s best to treat it as the devs passion project he does on the side.
Probably did get top 10. This is only top 5 though and the five listed are pretty big names.
