Square Enix’s previously announced HD-2D tactical RPG Project Triangle Strategy has been given a finalized title and release date in a new trailer shown off in today’s Nintendo Direct. Now known simply as “Triangle Strategy,” the game will be launching for Nintendo Switch on 4th March 2022.
The developers have added some quality of life changes as a result of fan responses to the demo version that was released earlier this year. Difficulty adjustments, UI improvements, camera angle controls, the ability to view previous dialogue, and streamlined game flow and loading times have all been added to provide for a better experience while playing.
A collector’s edition known as the “Tactician’s Limited Edition” has also been announced for Europe, releasing on the same day as the standard version. It will include; a physical copy of the game, steelbook, set of 6 customized dice, deck of collectable playing cards, double sided poster, and a “Diary of Orlaea” collector’s box.
Hopefully it isn’t too limited. I want it in North America too.
