Nintendo unveils Platinum Style outfits in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Pearl for early purchases

Nintendo has unveiled the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl early purchase bonus outfits for your in-game character. These snazzy new outfits will allow players to dress like the protagonist of Pokemon Platinum Version which was released on the Nintendo DS in 2008. To claim your outfit simply wait until the game launches on 19th November and then access the in-game Mystery Gift function. You have until 21st February 2022 to claim the Platinum-style outfit.

  1. This is cool, but it really bugs me that these costumes will essentially be unobtainable after the 21st of February.
    I’ve always hated these limited time events that Pokémon have done since Gen 3.

  2. I really hate all this limited time event stuff in pokemon. The whole concept is pretty dumb in itself. On a seperate note, it’s ridiculous that these outfits are even part of a time-sensitive event, when they’re the outfits the main characters wear in every advertisement of the damn games even in the original ads for 2009 lmao. There’s nothing special about it. That’s like remaking FireRed & LeafGreen, and to get Red or Green’s iconic clothes, you got to purchase within a set time, like wtf that’s the clothes they always wear.

    Put some real effort into timed events or don’t do it at all ffs.
