Netflix has reiterated that the forthcoming Sonic the Hedgehog animated series, Sonic Prime, is still on track for release this year. We hadn’t really heard anything about the project since it was announced back in February last year. Netflix wouldn’t provide a release date for the animation, simply stating that it is coming this year. Sonic Prime is being developed between SEGA, WildBrain Studio, and Man of Action. Hopefully we won’t have too long to wait until we see the first teaser trailer for the show.
