The latest video game charts for the United States are finally here thanks to sales tracker, The NPD Group. The best-selling hardware for the month of March was the Nintendo Switch family of systems and the No.1 game was Elden Ring, which remains the best-selling game of 2022 in the United States. Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the 2nd best-selling game but digital sales aren’t counted. Kirby and the Forgotten Land performed well at retail entering the charts at No.3, though again, digital sales aren’t provided by Nintendo of America. The best-selling accessory for the month was the Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller.

Inaccurate. Xbox Series was top in dollars while Switch led units. Mat Piscatella’s tweet clearly states that.
Sickr please retract this article. The Nintendo Switch was and still is the number one selling console of March 2022, in America. The Xbox only made more in money, not consoles sold. 😌.

I have no doubt Kirby and the Forgotten Land will go on to become the best selling entry in the Kirby franchise. And it’s definitely well deserved.
