Update: The new patch notes say that they have “added Dark Mode” but it seems to have added a “Light Mode”.
The Nintendo Switch Online application has been updated today and it has finally added the option to view it in Dark Mode. It’s been a long time coming since the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone application has been available since 2017. To change the app to the newly added Dark Mode you simply need to go into the app’s settings. If you are on iOS, Dark Mode only works on iOS 13 onwards but we are already on iOS 15, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem for the majority of users.

Im sure someone will imply im ignorant for asking but, what does that mean in this article “it seems to have added a light mode”
As it a dark mode is black and a light mode is a white background etc.
If the next switch 2 or whatever nintendos new console is doesn’t have proper chat feature then il be dammed.
I was sort of half expecting the feature to become available with the current switch, but maybe this is not possible
I mean this is Nintendo were talking about theirs always bound to be some type of backwards decision.
It’s honestly shocking how stupid they’ve been with the service. It manages to make even Wii U look good in comparison.
