Lord of the Rings: Gollum Switch version launching later than other platforms

The official The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Twitter account has now set a firm release date for the intriguing game which was pushed back to this year. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be available at retailers on the 1st September, 2022. However, that’s only the PlayStation, Xbox and PC versions. The account says that the Nintendo Switch version will arrive at a later date. It doesn’t seem like developer Daedalic Entertainment feels confident announcing a timeframe for the Nintendo Switch version, but hopefully it arrives on the Switch family of systems later this year. Sadly we weren’t treated to a new trailer for the game either.

  1. Well of course it is, it’s the Switch. It’ll be late, look ugly, run worse and will probably be more expensive than on other platforms by the time it comes out.

Bring on the Switch Pro/2 or whatever it’s called. And it still won’t be as powerful as the competition, but it’ll be as expensive.

    1. Sadly, with the bad economy and China/Japan at arms legnth with each other (which I doubt the MSM is covering but you can still find info from other sources that are legitimate from those whom live there I am not surprised at this. We are at the point of have giving Japan shiny new battleships and the Japanese economy in the last year or so has been slowly shifting towards war time mode: Meaning less for frivolous Entertaiment causes:

      Without any of that above:
The Switch is a sickie poo machine it was old when it was brand new and the PS5 was just a rumor with lots of click bait. Now it’s really awful and it won’t get better with lockdowns and governments making stupid decisions just to please the nanny state people.

I think the chip it used is actually from either the early Obama era or late Bush era just before Obama. It was THAT old of a customized chip and people criticized it back then.

  2. Makes sense when you look at the big picture of the world and economy and also how outdated the Switch was (is).

  3. I think certain words are censored so I can’t explain why this is happening but just know that it ins’t going to get better without the ‘Great Reset’. I hope this goes thru. I don’t know if it’s the length or certain words.

  4. i got a feeling if this does come to the switch it won’t be for at least another 2 to 3 years cause that seems to be a thing with these companies if u have not noticed switch owners are still waiting on genshin impact that was announced 2 years ago coming to the switch i am beginning to think these games will not come at all and the devs are just lying to switch owners to give false hope
