Video: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R coming September to Switch

Bandai Namco has lifted the lid on when Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R launches and you won’t have to wait long as the game is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch family of systems and other platforms on 2nd September here in the west. The company also announced that there will be three versions of the anime fighting game available to purchase at launch. They are the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition and the Collector’s Bundle. Each version is listed down below along with the a fresh new trailer. “Pre-orders for the game are now open via the game’s official page. Fans can now pre-order the game for all platforms, except for Nintendo Switch digitally. Details on pre-orders for Nintendo Switch will be announced at a later date. All pre-orders will receive a bonus Green Dolphin Street State Prison Jacketcostume for Jolyne Cujoh. Pre-order editions include:

  • Standard Edition ($49.99): This includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R
  • Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99): This includes Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an Animation Special Event Color Set for the following characters (Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna), and the Season Pass, which grants four new playable characters, two exclusive costumes (Rohan Kishibe First Appearance Costume” & “Mohammed Avdol’s Father? Costume”), and two days of early access to all Season Pass characters.
  • Collector’s Bundle ($99.99): This includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an Animation Special Event Color Set for the following characters (Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna), and a Special Color version of the Grandista series Jolyne Cujoh 10 in. statue.”

 
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will also receive an “Early Access Demo” that is coming soon to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.  The demo gives players hands-on time with two modes with online PvP and practice modes. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is the biggest game ever in the JoJo’s franchise, bringing together a massive roster of 50 characters from every story arc in the anime series. Players can experience popular battles from each story and see heroes from different universes interact for the first time, playing as Jonathan Joestar, DIO, Jotaro Kujo, Jolyne Cujoh, daughter of Jotaro and the first-ever female JoJo in the series, and many more.
