Japan: Nintendo Switch sells 64K and Switch Sports climbs back to No.1

The latest boxed-video game software and hardware sales are in from Japan via the team at Japanese sales tracker, Famitsu. The best-selling software remains the Nintendo Switch family of systems shifting an additional 64,839 unit. Both PlayStation 5 editions and Xbox Series X|S continue to face supply chain issues. Nintendo Switch Sports once again performs well in the land of the rising sun as it has climbed back up to the No.1 position this week fending off competition from the newly-released remaster of the classic Taikou Risshiden V. Here’s the best-selling boxed-software and hardware in Japan for the week of 16th May, 2022 to 22nd May, 2022.

  1. So Nintendo is casually the top seller in games in every region. More so that they actually make a non tainted profit on every console and game sold.
