Aurora, who is the main character in from Ubisoft’s delightful 2D fantasy game, Child of Light, which is available on a number of formats including the Nintendo Switch, is now available as a playable character in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Aurora has been added in as a new character as part of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s new update which brings the 2D action game to Version 1.30. Here’s the patch notes direct from 505 Games.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – Version 1.30 update:
- New Playable Character.
- Reload time after dying as Miriam reduced.
- Fixed instances where Miriam would take damage from spike walls while using Reflector Ray.
- Addressed issues where some text would clip or fall out of boxes in various languages.
- Engine changes
- General bug fixing

Can anyone give me an update on the Switch version now? Is it better than it was?
Seriously, I would also like to know. I’ve owned it as an original Kickstarter backer and have never even touched it. I’ve been waiting for it to be at least decent on switch.
I had it on Wii U or PS3/PS4 so I can’t comment on that. Sorry :(
