The Nintendo Switch firmware has been updated to 14.1.2

The Nintendo Switch has been receiving quite a few firmware updates in the past 8 months, with the vast majority of them being rather small. However, Nintendo has eased up a little with them very recently, with the last firmware update being 2 months ago.

Well, Nintendo has released a new Nintendo Switch firmware update earlier tonight. Once you download the update, the console should be at version 14.1.2. This is yet another small update. In fact, the only thing the patch notes mention is that there were “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”.

    1. I just had a conversation with someone in regards to the 3ds being the best user experience out of any nintendo product and I wish the switch could at least be just as good

      1. Disagree. Anything from the NES through the N64 in which you just turn on the system and it plays the game without your input is superior. I don’t need a clock or a news channel. I need to not waste my time.

  1. Maybe it’s bc I’m new to the Switch, but I couldn’t be happier and I absolutely LOVE it. I’ll return in 3-6 months with an update 😆

  2. Please Nintendo, i hope to see some JoyCon update, like “JoyCon general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”. Not just Nintendo Switch update.
