The latest edition of Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu has arrived with subscribers and this week’s edition contains four reviews. The highest rated game this week is the newest game in the Sniper Elite series, Sniper Elite 5, which scored 32/40. MotoX fans will be pleased to see the forthcoming MX vs ATV Legends has been reviewed with Famitsu awarding it 29/40. Here’s all the reviews from Issue 1752:
- Matchpoint: Tennis Championships (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 8/6/6/7 [27/40]
- MX vs. ATV Legends (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One) – 7/7/7/8 [29/40]
- The Quarry (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One) – 8/7/8/8 [31/40]
- Sniper Elite 5 (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One) – 9/7/8/8 [32/40]
I enjoyed The Quarry, no spoliers but alot of gamers say chapter 7 is the only boring part because it’s like 45 minutes of nonstop dialogue and cinematics. The gameplays pretty much like Until Dawn, although The Quarry doesn’t have near as many jump scares. The Death Rewind is a nice feature, not sure if it was just my personal experience with The Quarry or if my save just became corrupt. Because on my 3rd playthrough the game continuously crashed everytime i used Death Rewind. My only complaint is how sensitive the controls are are when picking dialogue, oftentimes i wouldn’t press anything it just picked an option for me.
The Quarry is definitely worth it, although i’d probably wait until it gets patched or a price drop. It has multiple endings but each playthroughs only roughly 7 or 8 hours. The only negative thing I’ve seen on PowerPyx and Psnprofiles website is The Hard Pass trophy is glitched unless you have a physical copy and play post patch. Most players get all other trophies except The Hard Pass trophy making it platinum impossible.
