Latest Nintendo directors approval rates for 2022

The approval ratings for the various Nintendo directors has been revealed for 2022 and most of them have slightly declined over last year, especially those for Nintendo president, Shuntaro Furukawa, who had a 96.86% approval rating in 2021 which has slipped to 88.32% in 2022. The votes were cast during Nintendo’s 82nd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders with the aforementioned shareholders voting on the election of the six Nintendo directors. Here’s the individual results.

  • Shuntaro Furukawa – 88.32% (2022) | 96.86% (2021)
  • Shigeru Miyamoto – 92.24% (2022) | 97.88% (2021)
  • Shinya Takahashi – 98.56% (2022) | 97.88% (2021)
  • Ko Shiota – 98.56% (2022) | 97.57% (2021)
  • Satoru Shibata – 98.56% (2022) | 97.85% (2021)
  • Chris Melandri – 99.25% (2021) | 99.31% (2021)

  1. Furukawa is not Kimushima or Iwata. He is a business minded President. They other two are built different and heavenly. He is good for turmoil.

      1. Read my comment again. Of the three Furukawa had the business only feel to him. Where as Kimishima had the Zeal of foresight and outreach aura. Iwata had it all 😇.

        1. I can’t stand the blind fangirling for Iwata. He’s a good man but he also was responsible for one of Nintendo’s least performing consoles the Wii u

              joking aside, i completely agree with you. Iwata was just a human being…of course he did lots of good things and made a few mistakes along the way.
