The latest UK physical video game software charts have come through and there is no change at the top this week as Horizon: Forbidden West claims the No.1 spot yet again for the week ending 20th August. The PlayStation Studios game has seen a surge of sales due to more PlayStation 5 console bundles being made available, though they were admittedly quickly snapped up. In other news last week’s new entry at No.2, Two Point Campus, has slipped to No.14 seeing a 76% decline in sales. This has allowed Nintendo Switch Sports to rise back up to No.2. Here’s the GfK UK Boxed Top Ten for the week ending 20th August:
| Last Week | This Week | Title |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | Horizon Forbidden West |
| 3 | 2 | Nintendo Switch Sports |
| 4 | 3 | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe |
| 7 | 4 | Pokémon Legends: Arceus |
| 6 | 5 | Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga |
| 5 | 6 | Gran Turismo 7 |
| 11 | 7 | Grand Theft Auto V |
| 8 | 8 | Animal Crossing: New Horizons |
| 9 | 9 | Minecraft |
| 12 | 10 | FIFA 22 |

Horizon Forbidden West is a spectacular game, they updated it and now the Spector Prime machine scan is automatically added. Originally it was the only missable in the game now everythings possible in one playthrough. The training and arena are probably the most annoying and/or frustrating part, doing specific combos or defeating the enemy a certain way. I already have Forbidden West, im just interested in more PS5’s being available. I don’t care if i get a bundle with Forbidden West i just want a PS5.
