The UK physical video game software charts are now here for the week ending 13th August. There was a new No.1 this week, well a re-entry, for the PlayStation game, Horizon Forbidden West, which shot to No.1 due to some new PlayStation 5 hardware bundles arriving at retailers. There was one new entry in the charts which was Two Point Campus which arrived at No.2 with 64% of the game’s boxed sales for the Nintendo Switch version, the PS5 version sold 19% and 14% on PlayStation 4 and 5% on Xbox as Two Point Campus is available on the Xbox Game Pass service. Those of you wondering where Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is, it slipped down to No.15 this week.

Can we report US weekly sales instead of UK?
The only data we get from the US is monthly. It’s the NPD Group results.
The UK is also Nintendo land. With due consideration, the Switch games rise on those charts with digital being factored. This is the best gaming generation.
