Atlus has revealed the file-size for the digital edition of the long-awaited Persona 5 Royal game for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. Atlus seem to have done an impressive job on keeping the file-size low despite the length and size of the acclaimed JRPG. The digital edition will weigh in at 12.5GB, though that could obviously change slightly with day one patches etc. The PlayStation 4 version of Persona 5 Royal is 37.760 GB but that might include the 4K textures etc for the PlayStation 4 Pro system. Persona 5 Royal launches on Nintendo Switch and Xbox Game Pass on 21st October.

That is HUGE!
Not compared to a number of big third party games. I’m looking at you Rockstar and the excellent L.A Noire game for Nintendo Switch. 29GB+ XD
Shin Megami Tensei V is 13.1GB making P5R around 600MB smaller than SMT V. That being said I’m excited.
I’m guessing they are also making the japanese dub a separate download, like in SMT 5
