Monolith Soft is not unfamiliar to Nintendo fans. The team assists with Nintendo’s IPs often, and they’re the developers behind the Xenoblade Chronicles games. In fact, their most recent release, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, came out earlier this year.
Well, Monolith Soft has revealed on their official website that they helped develop Splatoon 3, which released just a few days ago. It isn’t surprising, as they also helped out with Splatoon and Splatoon 2. That said, they’re also currently assisting with development of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is getting an Expansion Pass, so Monolith Soft have been very busy.
No wonder why they have been busy on everything. That explains a lot.
A lot of games are pretty much a group project which isn’t terrible if handled right.
HOW MANY 3s DO THEY HAVE TO THEIR NAME?!
They could teach Valve a thing or two
I wholeheartedly agree. They could teach Retro studios too.
