Metacritic has confirmed that the reviews for the next games in the long-running Pokemon franchise will be arriving tomorrow morning. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet build upon Pokemon Legends Arceus which launched earlier this year to give fans a truly open world Pokemon adventure, so it will be interesting to see how it fares with the gaming press. The Pokemon Company recently released the English overview video for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, which you can watch here.

The overview trailer look’s legit, i think it’ll get good reviews. Maybe an 80 or an 85, despite how it scores im sure Pikemon Scarlet and Violet will sell good. I couldn’t even find a physical copy of Legend Arceus at any local retailer, ended up getting it as digital because everywhere was sold out. Im guessing Scarlet and Violet will most likely be about the same in terms of availability.
Wrong, it is pokemon it is going to sell no matter what the scores, look at let’s go pokemon, sorry when it comes to main line pokemon games they sell no matter what.
They could look like literal shit & they’d still sell. Could play like shit, too.

Well get ready for a load of 6s and 7s from Sony bought off critics complaining about the bad frame rate, funny when REAL GAMERS like ircha gaming on you tube, and other you tubers who got the game early, said their WERE NO FRAME RATE ISSUES, THEY LOOKED FOR THEM. They said there were a few fuzzy textures, and A little drawn in , in a few areas, but that was it, and these players were 30, 50, and one guy was 100 hours into the game, and they saw no major frame rate issues, I know there are going to be Sony ponies out there who say, DUH WALE I GUT THE GAME URLY AND THAR WUZ LOTS OF FRAM RAIT ISSHUES, I SAW EM DUH, DUH, sorry morons, if the game did have frame rate issues then these you tubers would have saw them too, and they did not and two of the guys said they HATED SWORD AND SHIELD so sorry they are not fanboys.
The only reason cry bag critics and Fanboyz are saying this is because 1. They don’t want pokrmon to be the big holiday seller, they want their MEDIOCRE god of War to be it, NOT HAP9ENING, or 2. I don’t know, I saw some Nintendo Life hands on, various Nintendo fan youtube channels who had hands on time with it said the performance is pretty bad. I don’t think it’ll mar a turn based RPG like Pokemon, but it is objectively true that the Switch is / has been showing its age. The game will perform well in sales and I have both games purchased and downloaded on a couple switches, can’t wait. But to deny performance issues is more disingenuous than being honest about them. There are performance issues present in the trailers, edited and provided by Nintendo.
It’s not just that the Switch is showing its age (though it definitely is), it’s that Game Freak do not optimise their games well. I mean at the end of the day this is a game that’s going to look worse and perform worse than BotW, whilst not being any more ambitious. That’s a reflection on Game Freak.
There was some. I am glad Game Freak fixed a lot of the issues, but next time, they need to release it without all the problems.
