Bayonetta 2 updated to version 1.2.0

Believe it or not, it has been over 4 years since Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 were released on the Nintendo Switch. Even though the 2 games have been out for a long time, they’re still receiving updates every now and then. In fact, both games had received a language-related update a couple of months ago.

Bayonetta 1 is still at version 1.1.0., but Nintendo decided to release an update for Bayonetta 2 earlier tonight. Once you’ve downloaded the update, Bayonetta 2 should be at version 1.2.0. The official patch notes are rather small, but you can see what has been changed down below.

General Fixes

  • Fixed an error in the Chinese (Traditional) spelling of a chapter title.
  • Errors in the text of an event scene at the start of the game were corrected across all languages.

    1. They aren’t that dirty like how the now defunct Funimation did Vic Mignogna dirty by replacing his voice of Broly with Johnny Yong Bosch for DBS Broly. They also ask people to get rid of the original of the movie and buy the updated one and i was like, nah, I’ll keep it and eventually buy the updated one. Anyways good to see fixes for something that hasn’t received updates in 666yrs.
