For the last few months, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack’s retro libraries has been, for the most part, untouched. The only exception to this has been the Nintendo 64’s library, which has had a few new additions during that time frame.
Well, it seems that things are changing. Nintendo has announced that Golden Axe II, Alien Storm, Columns and Virtua Fighter 2 are now available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, via the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive library. You can see their announcement tweet down below.

I keep thinking the Master System and Genesis’ games were the same era. I will boot up the app wondering why Phantasy Star isn’t there, then I remember.
It gets confusing. Basically the Master System sucks compared to the Genesis. The same games appear on both sometimes but the MS is basic as hell so the Genesis games are improvements.
Sometimes I forget that this is supposed to be a part of the service and it’s literally rarely use.
Please just announce Golden Eye 007 Re-release please !!!
Everyone who ever wanted these has ways of playing them already
Is Tiny Toons Adventure, Buster’s Treasure Hunt ever going to be available again?
