Popular video games site IGN has polled its extensive reader base to find out which games its fan base are looking forward to the most this year. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 proved to be the most voted for video game, though in truth it was a very close battle between the next Spider-Man adventure from Insomniac Games and Nintendo’s long-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 had a 82.2% win percentage and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s had a 82.1% win percentage. All in all it is a fairly predictable list which is filled to the brim with AAA games, though it is still interesting to see which games console and PC owners are looking forward to the most this year.
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Star Wars: Jedi Survivor
- Starfield
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Final Fantasy XVI
- Resident Evil 4 Remake
- Dead Space Remake
- Assassin’s Creed: Mirage
- Diablo IV
The one remarkable thing about this list is it’s lack of original content.
I’m personally looking forward to Pikmin 4, and whatever the Pokemon company is doing for this year. I would have preferred a new Mario game, over another Zelda game, such as a Mario Oddesy 2, but I understand why Nintendo would give Zelda the spot light. I might get tales of Symphonia to keep me going over a few months.
Im anticipating Disgaea 7 western release, it releases in JPN January 26th they haven’t announced the official western release date yet but from what I’ve seen the eta is June – August.
Teers of kigndom!!?!!!
