Microsoft has now officially confirmed that it won’t be attending this year’s E3 2023 event which is due to be held in Los Angeles in June. ReedPop was hoping that it could bring about a revitalised E3 experience, but that looks be further in doubt. Nintendo previously said that it also won’t be attending the event. The only one left to comment on E3 2023 is Sony, which isn’t expected to attend the event either. It will be interesting to see which video game companies actually attend the washout. Nintendo has announced that it will be at this year’s PAX East event later this month.
“We can’t wait to host our Xbox Games Showcase on June 11 and will share more details later. We also look forward to co-streaming our event as part of E3 Digital and will not be on the E3 showfloor.”

I had an Xbox once, until it got the RROD, i called M$ support and they told me the manufacturer must of dropped the box. Apparently they dropped one box and it affected thousands of systems. No one cares about M$ and there recycled refrigerators!
Between 23 and 55% of Xbox 360s had the RROD. From then onwards we with open eyes and critical approaches never bought an Xbox ever again. Nice comment.

That means they are doing the E3 digital event though, which is a lot more than we have confirmation for from Nintendo.
Nintendo won’t bother doing anything till September, because Zelda will be selling like mad until then 😂
Meaning they are doing what Nintendo started in the early 20teens. Nintendo shall be alright, directs are their forte. “Leave luck to heaven.”

I remember all the articles back then. Calling for Nintendo to reconsider because E3 was such a staple to gaming, and how directs would never replace E3, or be as impactful. Lol now look at everyone. From Sony and MS, to every single 3rd party.
Only Sony left standing about the E-3 if they are planning to attend.
