Nintendo has announced that they will be broadcasting the final pre-launch trailer for the long-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom tomorrow, 13th April. The 3 minute trailer will be live-streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel at 7am PT / 3pm UK time. It seems as though Nintendo doesn’t want to spoil too much about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom before the game’s launch on 12th May.

I’m predicting the gameplay is going to get leak online on both YouTube and Twitch before it gets release and gamers and streamers won’t learn anything.
A game as highly anticipated as this having leaked gameplay footage is almost inevitable. People get games early from Ma and Pa shops, they import games from Play-Asia or with an Alt account from a digital marketplace from a region where the games already available. It’s not against the ToS playing games before release if you paid for it, It’s against Twitch ToS streaming games before release.
Aaaaaaagh, do I watch it and risk getting less surprised when the game is finally in my hands or do I avoid it and go in blinder than those who did watch it?
That’s the dilemma 😟
May as well watch it, honestly if this game does have any big surprises, Nintendo are not keen on revealing them, which leaves me to think that this game might not be the big Zelda I was hoping for.
I mean as long as there are no story spoilers I guess there’s nothing wrong with indulging… TotK has looked more story-heavy than BotW since the first real trailer and Nintendo probably doesn’t want to throw us too many hints about it (hell, we didn’t even know what the actual name of the sequel was until 8 months ago).
