Morio Kishimoto, the director of the latest 3D Sonic game Sonic Frontiers, has revealed that Ian Flynn will return to write some of the downloadable content episodes for Sonic Frontiers. The DLC will arrive as part of the third expansion pack due later in 2023. The story DLC for Sonic Frontiers will include a selection of new playable characters and Sonic Stadium says that they are heavily rumoured to be Tails, Knuckles and potentially Amy. Once we know more about the additional content for Sonic Frontiers we will let you know.
“Although Sonic Frontier has a huge amount of settings, there are many episodes that could not be told,” the Sonic Team director added. “Now that we’ve decided which episode to go with, I’m sure we’ll be able to meet everyone’s expectations!”
