Rumour: Mortal Kombat Reboot could include Conan the Barbarian, Peacemaker and Homelander in Character Pass

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. are busy preparing to lift the lid on the long-awaited next game in the iconic Mortal Kombat series. The bloody fighting game is expected to be a complete reboot of the series which originally launched back in 1992. The reboot will apparently be named Mortal Kombat 1 and is expected to launch on multiple platforms later this year. Characters which are rumoured to be making an appearance in the game are Peacemaker, Conan the Barbarian and Homelander, though it is thought that these characters will be part of the game’s Character Pass.

        1. And still live at your parents place? Or don’t have your own room? Or why exactly can’t you play M-rated games on your own?

  1. You know what would be a good crossover,
    Mortal Kombat vs Darkstalkers.
Similar to Mortal Kombat, Darkstalkers allow players to mutilate opponents but to a lesser extent like cutting them in half at the waste and both games deal with dimensional Realms and the supernatural like Demon’s and gods.
If a crossover were to ever happen between these companies I would definitely prefer to a MKxDS crossover, also the Devil May Cry cast would have to be added as well.
As far as who I would want to develope it it would have to be Capcom because as much as I like MK their characters move and attack like outdated manikins with terrible choreographed animated motion as Sugarpunch put it best, but as far as the story is concerned the MK devs should handle that part because Capcom tell the absolute worse stories ever while MK always had decent writing.
Seriously MK vs Darkstalkers would be much better and make more sense than a MK vs SF game due to both DS and MK sharing similar concepts.

  2. Oh good, it said “could.” Can they not make a Mortal Kombat and DC crossover for five minutes? I don’t care if they both belong to WB now. It’s cringe.

  3. Great, they waited until they became a 100% woke garbage company to remake mk1… just what we need, a woke MK1… smfh
