  1. This list has always been a bit dubious to me – Tetris includes many completely different versions of Tetris, Minecraft includes Java, Bedrock and other versions which are all quite different, GTA V includes the original and the remasters, same with Skyrim, Mario Kart 8 includes sales of the Deluxe port, Wii Sports I don’t think was ever sold on its own so literally entire consists of console pack-in sales etc. etc.

As ever with a list like this a lot of it is really in how you count it. I guess it’s fair to say though that one way or another, Skyrim has moved a lot of copies.

    1. I guess you could count only the sales for Mario Kart Deluxe and it would remain on the spot, I mean, Wii U didn’t sell enough units to really move the gauge.

      1. “Didn’t…really move the gauge”. It sold over 8 million copies. Any company would bite your hand off for that level of success. Plus Nintendo made even more money from selling the DLC.

  2. I mean they only have how many versions of Skyrim? Standard edition, Special edition, Legendary edition, Skyrim VR and The anniversary edition. Maybe eventually they can port or remaster Marrowind and/or Oblivion, or just continue nickel and dime Skyrim and milking it like a cash cow.

  3. As many times Super Mario 64 been sold on N64, DS, Wii Eshope, Wii U Eshope and Switch Eshope, I’m surprised it isn’t on this list.
