Nintendo surprised a lot of fans a few weeks ago when they suddenly announced on Twitter that Everybody 1-2-Switch would be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on June 30th. What made the reveal even more surprising is that Nintendo confirmed the game without any gameplay footage. In fact, instead of a trailer, it was just a picture of the game’s title.
Well, it seems that we now know why that was the case, and it may surprise you to hear that it was not because of the Nintendo Direct that is happening tomorrow. Nintendo released a video confirming that they held an Everybody 1-2-Switch “first look party” in Japan that had 16 content creators from around the world. There, they were able to play the game. You can see Nintendo’s video of the party, which also includes some gameplay of Everybody 1-2-Switch, down below.

This was amazing and unique, first time a party game do this.

Why is it a game franchise no one cares about can come up with a sequel immediately regardless how bad the first game sold but take decades to make a sequel over 70% of what gamers been asking for?
You must be a new nintendo fan :v
1-2 Switch sold over 3.63 million copies, it did well.
They know this game sucks… they didn’t even put it in the Nintendo Direct.
